How do I work?
One-to-one consultations
My guiding principles
My work focuses on psychological support based on conversation, collaborative thinking and a thorough understanding.
Online and offline I work in both areas — so I can support you whether you live abroad or prefer the security and convenience of the online world. The online world provides an opportunity as well as to tailor the therapy more flexibly to your daily life and save time on travelling. Based on many years’ experience of online therapy, I can confidently say that this format can be just as effective, in-depth and successful as face-to-face sessions.
At the same time, I know that we all function differently: some people prefer the freedom of the online world, whilst others find face-to-face interaction more natural — both approaches work just as well.
The process
The first step in the process is always getting to know one another: your story, your goals and your pace determine the direction we take next. Working together always begins with a using a structured survey To begin with: I use validated, standardised psychological tests and questionnaires so that we can build the rest of the process on an accurate, objective foundation.
I don’t think in terms of strict protocols or boxes. The in bespoke work I believe that people are different, and support should reflect that.
Creative tools appear when real value They place. The emphasis is always on human connection, security, honesty and the process of self-discovery.

Just as no hiker sets off without the right equipment, so too on the path to self-knowledge you may need tools that help you see more deeply or move forward more easily.
A On PsychoPalette I use a range of methods, always tailoring them to your needs. The methods are not ends in themselves, but gates: new insights, a deeper connection, and ultimately, to more authentically, more freely, more joyfully be able to cope with it.

Self-awareness groups provide a safe space to help you discover yourself and understand others. During the group sessions, You can share your thoughts and experiences, and learn from other people’s stories too.
Group dynamics helps to recognise patterns, whilst developing your communication skills and your ability to connect with others.
By proceeding at your own pace, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and develop new, constructive approaches to everyday life.

Lectures, workshops
The talks and workshops are born at the intersection of psychology, art and culture. Rather than explaining theories, they offer experiences that open up new perspectives on self-awareness. Rather than providing ready-made answers, they offer experiences that help you see yourself and the world in a different light.

At our first meeting, we’ll get to know each other, discuss your goals and requirements, and work together to map out how our collaboration will proceed.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person and depends on the problem, your goals and your progress. In most cases, even just a few sessions can bring about positive change, but deeper changes take more time to achieve.
What form does the therapy take?
I offer both one-to-one and group consultations in person in Budapest and Esztergom, and I am also available online.

You can cancel or change the agreed appointment in writing at least 48 hours in advance.
What methods do you use in therapy?
I tailor my approach to individual needs, incorporating art therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and other techniques.
What happens if I feel I don’t want to carry on?
It’s perfectly normal if not everyone finds the right professional for them straight away; we can’t work with everyone. In such cases, let’s discuss it calmly and find the best solution together.

My consultation fee is currently 25,000 Ft per session, and I will provide you with full details of the payment terms when we first get in touch.

I do not deal with serious psychiatric or crisis situations, nor with problems which, from a professional point of view, require intervention by a clinical specialist or an addiction specialist; nor do I work with children.
How can I start therapy if I’ve never seen a psychologist before?
There’s no need to worry. The first session is really just about getting to know each other, and you decide how to proceed; the process can be broken down into stages. We’ll take each step together, at your own pace.
How long does a therapy session last?
A session usually lasts 50 minutes.
What is the process for an online consultation?
We’ll meet via an online video call, which is just as confidential and effective as a face-to-face meeting.

What happens if I can’t make it to an appointment?
It’s best to let us know as soon as possible so that we can arrange a new time and give others the chance to use that slot.
What happens if I'm late?
It’s at your convenience – if you’re only a few minutes late, just come along. If it’s any longer than that, I’d appreciate it if you could let me know by text.
How long does it take you to reply to emails?
Usually at the end of the day, and if I’m attending a training course or travelling, then as soon as I get home.
When does the therapy end?
The decision to end therapy is a joint one; it does not happen suddenly, but gradually.
